Welcome to our class blog. We will use this space to expore and share our thoughts about themes from our reading, and knowledge gleaned from lectures and museum visits. We will ultimately use this forum to examine our potential impact on the world as well as its impact on us.
Mrs. Jackson I chose to read Our America and I can not wait to read it. It seems like it will be a very touching and true story.

ReplyDeleteBy the time I graduate I wanna know how to create animation and make a film. I wanna know every method of animation so I can make a career out of it. I'll know if what I learned is authentic if it gets results.
ReplyDeleteI want to know how to take my ideas and turn them into a great business. I want to know how to seek more, write better, and improve my artistic skills. I should know what I've learned is true when I can confirm that I have better skills, and that I took something more out of my learning ability than just how to spell and read. Is more to a book than just reading, and that's how I will know.
ReplyDeleteBy the time i graduate from columbia college i would like to know how to be more creative and think outside the box. I would like to be educated in my feild of study and be a prepared to take on the real world. I'm hoping that this school will teach me how to become a better adult and sculpt me into someone who is responsible, open minded and ready to take on any challenge.
ReplyDeleteI would really like to know that I came here for a purpose that was met. I would like to know the exact process I will have to go through to reach my career when I am done with school. I know that something is truth when someone doesn't sugar coat it. They will tell someone the struggle that a person will have to go through to meet the goal they want to achieve.

ReplyDeleteBy the time I graduate, I would like to have developed a better outlook and overall grasp on Music Production and Engineering. Being that it is the proffession that i chase, there will never be a time that i wont be able to obtain more truthful facts and ideas about it.
ReplyDeleteBy the time I graduate from Columbia I would like to know how to professionally produce and edit films. I will like to learn the true way of doing the things that I love. i have been playing with the camera for a while but I wasn't sure if I was really working it the way it should so Columbia will teach me the real way to do things. I will know that what I have learned is true when I make a film and it has a great affect.
ReplyDeleteIn the end everything is relative, and by going to college I am working to acquire skills for a job that allows me to peruse personal success and stability in a world that I recognize as reality. So the material that i have learned should not be categorized as true or authentic. It's just a skill like building a fire for warmth to maintain homeostasis, nothing more then that.

I've often say that I'm going to graduate and become a Game Designer, but how do I start my career, do I jump into a group of designers or do i start from the bottom and work my way up.
