Palahniuk discusses how he gives his character education and a skill set to limited their perceptions of the world. How does your education and environment affect how you view the world?
Because of my education, I view the world as something that cannot be taken for granted. I realize that not everyone has had the same educational experiences as I have, therefore I am thankful for the opportunity that was presented to me in order to further my educational career.
Everything I learn, I carry with me everyday. Although I am not a fast learner, I keep in mind that everything I get lectured on is important. The worst you could ever do is to have the knowledge, but refuse to use it in your environment. To have an education means more now than ever. I view the world different, and I feel it's because of all the murders that have effect my community. It also hit me due to the way the world functions now and days. Although we have a African-American President of the U.S., we still lack better in our community. I see my position into changing the world, or at least helping the next generation to do so. I feel it's un-exceptable to not give the youth a better example, in result to that, our world is corrupting every second.
My education and environment helps me to view the world as a testing ground. When I think of all the things that I been through, it was just a test. It made me stronger and my education helps me to see that. Some people mope around and complain because of the things that happen to them but I am grateful for the good and the bad because it was all just a test and it did hurt a times but my education helped me realize that it really made me stronger.
I feel that if you don't have a good education and a good environment then you will grow to hate the world and yourself you will always be like what i could i have done to be better. everyone has there own state of mine how you view the world i view the world as a place that you can be who ever you want to be. I feel that you can learn so much from the world if you take the chances to look at whats around you!
I have been educated to believe that even though there is bad in the world everyone has good in them. Ive always believed that you should live your life to the fullest with no regrets. There will always be struggles, but if you push through the tough times there is always good in the end.
I think the way we are educated can teaches to explore more of ourselves and others. The way i grew up is that the only way to get out of my home area is to get an education. Where i live education is not taking seriously. I grew up believing that education can make my world easier with a better job, home, and life. Education should be taken for granted. It can make a difference in anyone, by giving them a chance to live in a better life.
My town is supposably the most diverse place in america. It's a normal thing to see every color of skin while walking down the hallway. Racial decrimination a is rarely displayed. My assumtpion is that most of all the students that graduate leave with an open mind. Free of prejudice and will to help. Therefore I believe that growing up in a diverse community where everybody keep and open mind, only angelic progress can be made.
My (Environment) affects my (Education) of how i view the world because it plays a major part in my daily life. There is so much crime in my environment that you cant help but wonder and think about if your going to live again to see another another day. My education is being tested because gang bangers are trying to recruit me into there world of theft,killing,jail, and lastly death and thats when i have to be strong and think about what i should say. But i have to be careful of what i say because it may jkust be my last words that i ever speak. Although despite of my environment i still love it and i hope and pray that it gets better because my education is very important to me but mostly its important to the world....
I personally feel that education has a great affect on how i veiw the world. However i would like to think that education is somewhat bitter sweet. The reason i say this is that education really limits peoples' perceptions on the world. When someone is educating a person, that persons point of veiw on that subject effects and influences how what they are teaching comes out. Like if i were to teach someone about global warming and i were against it I would tell that person how horrible it is to drive cars and why that it so. On the other hand if I thought global warming didn't exist then my teachings would be effected by that. This is how i think education effects me. Its effected by other peoples' perceptions and this causes me to veiw the world differently.
My backround has a lot to do with how I see the world. I was raised most of my life in the suburbs and by grandparents who are very very protective. One person who is very safe and protective is my grandmother. She always thinks the worst in any situation. I remember one time I put a bookcase in my room and she bolted it to the wall with the fear that it might fall on me if I were to ever pull out a book. I thought she was crazy but this definatly influences me to be more safe. She is always telling me to be safe and i am because of her.
How does my education and the enviroment that surrounds me affect the way I view the world ... I see the world as a learning experience. I've learned from so many people seeing that I attended a all girls high school and there with many cultures and attitudes it's as if their culture is apart of me and... to be continued..
My Education and enviroment effects how i view the world in various ways. coming up as a child i saw gun shots and gang banging. do to all those crazy things i didnt get involve in crazy things. By education being in my life i knew that it is important to know your past in order to go further in life to have a btight future
